FAQ
Design & Consultation
How do I book?
Send me a DM on Instagram or fill in the booking form. Tell me what you’re thinking: placement, size, any references you’ve got. We’ll take it from there.
How do you charge?
Pricing depends on the size, placement, detail, and overall complexity of the tattoo.
The minimum charge is £100, and smaller tattoos are priced from there upwards.
A full-day session is £700. For larger ongoing projects that only need a few hours to complete, I may charge my hourly rate of £120 per hour instead of booking a full day.
If you’re unsure which option applies to your tattoo, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to advise.
How do custom designs work?
Every tattoo is designed specifically for the person wearing it.
Depending on the project, your design may be prepared a few days before your appointment or drawn freehand on the day. As I spend most of my time tattooing and preparing artwork for upcoming sessions, designs are usually not shown before the appointment unless we’ve agreed otherwise in advance.
If you’d prefer to see your design beforehand, feel free to ask. I’ll always let you know whether that’s possible for your particular project.
How do drawing consultations work?
For some projects, I may recommend a drawing consultation before the tattoo appointment. These sessions help us plan the design properly and make sure we’re both completely clear on the vision before tattooing begins.
Drawing consultations are a great opportunity to discuss ideas in depth, build confidence in the design, and explore placement options.
The consultation may include:
- Discussing the concept and details of the tattoo
- Measuring and mapping the area
- Placement planning
- Freehand sketching directly onto the skin when appropriate
Drawing consultations are completely free of charge and usually last between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
Can I ask for alterations or changes to my custom design?
Absolutely.
Minor adjustments can usually be made on the day of your appointment.
However, if you’ve changed your mind completely or would like significant changes that require creating entirely new artwork, a new deposit may be required and the appointment may need to be rescheduled to allow enough time for redesigning the project.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
A few simple things can make a big difference to your experience:
- Eat a proper meal within two hours of your appointment
- Stay well hydrated
- Get a good night’s sleep beforehand
- Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed
- Avoid arriving hungover or under the influence of alcohol or drugs
And don’t worry — you’re welcome to bring snacks and drinks with you for longer sessions.
What’s your age and ID policy?
You must be 18 years or older to get tattooed.
Please bring a valid photo ID (passport or driving licence) to your appointment. No exceptions.
You’ll be asked to complete a consent form on the day, and a photograph of your ID will be required for our records.
Pricing
How can I get a quote?
For smaller and medium tattoos, I can usually provide an exact or estimated quote before you book.
Larger projects are typically charged by the hour or by session, depending on the scope of the work.
I’ll always provide as much information as possible before you commit to a booking, including estimated costs, session requirements, and payment details.
I understand that getting tattooed often involves planning financially, physically, and mentally, so transparency is important throughout the process.

How can I pay for my tattoo?
I currently accept:
- Bank transfer
- PayPal
- Klarna (instalment payments available)
- Cash
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you’re ready to commit before booking.
If you’d like to discuss your ideas first, you’re welcome to book as many consultations as needed before placing a deposit.
If something unexpected comes up, you can reschedule your appointment as long as you provide at least 48 hours’ notice. In that case, your deposit will be transferred to the new booking.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to secure another booking.
Deposits remain valid for one year from the date of payment.
Healing & Aftercare
My tattoo is finished. What’s the aftercare?
There’s no single aftercare routine that works for everyone.
Your lifestyle, skin type, work environment, and any medical considerations (such as allergies) can all affect how your tattoo should be cared for.
After your appointment, I’ll give you personalised aftercare advice to help your tattoo heal as smoothly as possible.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Most tattoos appear healed within 2–3 weeks.
However, it’s completely normal for the skin to look slightly shiny or feel different for a little longer. While the surface may look healed, the deeper layers of skin continue recovering for several weeks, and complete healing can take anywhere from 2–4 months.
When can I go back to the gym or exercise?
Light exercise is usually fine after 24 hours, provided you’re comfortable and the tattoo isn’t causing irritation.
Try to avoid activities that heavily stretch, rub, or put pressure on the freshly tattooed area during the first few days.
As a general rule:
- If your tattoo is on your lower body, focus on upper-body training initially
- If your tattoo is on your upper body, focus on lower-body training
- Avoid intense cardio, running, or activities that cause excessive sweating for the first few days, especially if the tattoo is on your legs
Listen to your body and allow the tattooed area time to settle before returning to your normal training routine.
